A letter has been sent to all clubs requesting that suitable 1st XV players are nominated for consideration to be selected for the Durham County RFU Senior XV Squad for the forthcoming 2011/2012 County Championship – Bill Beaumont Cup.
See Letter The fixtures are as follows : Saturday 5th May 2012 – Durham v Warwickshire, at Blaydon RFC, k.o. 3pm. Saturday 19th May 2012 – Eastern Counties v Durham, at Cambridge RFC, k.o. 3pm. The proposed training dates prior to these fixtures are as follows : Wednesday 18th April 2012, at Durham University’s Maiden Castle Sports Complex, Durham, 6.30pm. Wednesday 25th April 2012, at Durham University’s Maiden Castle Sports Complex, Durham, 6.30pm. Thursday 3rd May 2012, at Blaydon RFC, 6.30pm. Thursday 17th May 2012, at Durham University’s Maiden Castle Sports Complex, Durham, 6.30pm. It is essential that players are available for both games and all training sessions. As can be seen, the away game with Eastern Counties is at Cambridge RFC and therefore the team will be travelling to Cambridge on Friday 18th May 2012, staying overnight and travelling back after the game/post match dinner on Saturday 19th May 2012 and again it is essential that all players can commit to this arrangement. When considering nominations, can Director’s of Rugby/1st XV Coaches, make every effort to ensure that players qualify to play for Durham County, i.e. born in Durham County, live in Durham County or have previously represented Durham County. In order to assist with communication, when providing nominations, can the contact address, home/mobile telephone number and e-mail address of the players be provided. |
