Durham won the County Championship Plate Final
by 30 points to 20 points in a closely contested game against Eastern Counties.
Four first half penalties by Simon Moore gave Durham a slender 12pts to 8pts lead at half time. Two more penalties by Moore, a try by replacement Alistair Simmie and a try by winger Oliver Brennand, converted by Moore saw the home side triumphant at the final whistle
